Default Pic request. 4th gen w/ 215/40/17's

Looking to replace my 2 rear tires with 215's, just wondered what it looked like. I'd be coming from 205/40/17

Tell us the width of the wheel and the offset that you'll be putting those tires on.

215 MIGHT rub if your offset is ~40 with a drop of ~2". I ran 205/40/17 and the ride is terrible. The stretched look of 205 on 7.5" wide rims doesn't look very good either.

But I might be picking up a set of 17x7 wheels with 215/40 this week. I'll post it up for you to see.

What do you mean stretched?

Heres what it looks like now:

I was just wanting a slightly wider tire in the rear to "stagger" it a little.

if you want something staggered, you should probably go with 215 in the front and 225 in the rear. i think the 205 40 are just too small of a tire for 17x7s. i've got 215 45 for my 16x7s, and i think i could have gone with 225 easily.

Okay.. WOW. I decided. Im doing it.

I might get some spacers too..

And yes, i like the RWD look. It reminds me of my old rims I had, looked meaner then it does now.

Shot for reference:
