Default CamShaft for my 97 2.2L Accord

I'm trying to get some more "spunk" out of my 2.2L engine ... It's just a "bit" underpowered for this heavy car. I was told that a cam might be the way to do it (without getting WAY nuts and do an engine swap). I'm only going to swap the engine when this one dies (which means never if I know Hondas). What else do I need to consider IF I upgrade the cam?

I intend on doing an intake (AEM CAI), exhaust (cat back - when it NEEDS to be replaced), and maybe a header along with the rest of the exhaust.

I'm pretty sure you can get it grinded, I think Crane does it, but I don't think there is an actual aftermarket camshaft that you can get, unless things have changed.

gude makes a full head package... but not too many people say good things about gude. a friend of mine is doing the crower re-grind thing, its taking like 6 mos. to get it back.

Let me get this right ... They "GRIND" the original cam?! I don't understand? I thought that a bigger lobe on the shaft will allow more air / fuel into the cylinder.

they regrind the cam
noone makes a billet cam for th f motors i have been chasing this down for close to two years now, and am not interested in payink 1k+ for crower to make me one

in regards, they either hard weld material and grind, or grind down the stock base circle and just have more duration on the cam.

i dont beleive in regrinds.........
