For 97-98 ITR owners that did not have the air installed at the dealer, Is there anything in front of your radiator, from the factory, (where the a/c condensor would go if so equipt) that would help protect it from debris?
Thanks,
Mattj

I don't know of anything from the factory. But if you wanna go rice you can put that wire mesh crap in the grille.
mines all open also
anyone need a complete AC from a 97 ITR?

is it rice if its functional? guess im just getting old, and maybe im just not "hip" with the new "lingo" you hard core racers use. i personally like to keep rocks away from my expensive intercooler, and i even like people not knowing i have one. i guess stealth is rice these days.
some people might think spending 3000+ on some bodywork and headlights when you could be buying go-fast parts and dyno time is ricy. i personally dont believe in rice. to each his own.

Here is integrated109's Riced Out Type R (notice the Rice Wire Mesh) But notice you can't see the oh my god intercooler either. Rev if you must but don't cry when you lose.
Be careful with those grille mesh. If you track the car, the water temp. could get a bit high!! Because it disturbs the air flow!!!

Thats why painting it black won't help. Also painting an intercooler rasies the temp, because it makes the aluminum retain heat, and if not done right could clog passages.
