has to be a base if you want 15's. Type-s Front brakes wont clear.

The right sized 15" wheel will fit the Type-S fronts. I had a set of 15x8's on there and they cleared the brakes just fine.

its what I've been told. Search itr rim or wheel in the DC5 section. the 15" ITR rim is said not to work with the type-s. but hey some 15" rims might work ^^^

Most 15's probably won't work, but some will. There is mis-information that no 15" will fit on a Type-S, but that's not true.

Dude, you have gotten solid knowledge. 15" wheel fitment on a Type-S depends upon the wheel, period.

There is nothing more to say.

If by "solid knowledge" you mean for one of us to say, "Team Dynamics Pro Race 1 and 1.2, SSR Type-C, and supposedly Volks (the 6-spoke ones) will fit over Type-S brakes in a 15" size," then consider it done... lol

15x8 Volk TE-37's.

But if the OP is looking for a list of 15" wheels that'll fit...good luck. Only way to know for sure is to try them on and my guess is that a lot of people haven't done this.

True, not a lot have done it, but enough have, and I gave my short list in my previous post.

15x7 Pro Race 1 and 1.2 wheels are cheap and, therefore, a reasonable purchase for most people. The Volks you had are probably the only option I've heard of in 15x8.
