Ok one day i was driveing and all of a sudden my car lost power and smoke came out of the Exhaust the Car was running great until then. My Dad says the car has great spark, headgasket is not blowen. Right now were are checking the fuelpump pressuse to make sure it's 16psi or greater.
At this point we are not sure if the computer might have failed, the guy at autozone told us that the little led on the computer would light up or blink if there is something wrong but it dosent blink or stay light. .. could the fuel Injection system be haveing issues ? When the car lost power and died the car was putting out blackish smoke and like i said before the car was running great.

I tryed Restarting the car, still nothing the timeing belt is also fine so rule that one out. All I hear when i start the car is a pop any ideas ?

well the same thing happend to my brothers car we opend up the distributor and the rotor was loose so we tightend it up and started right up so that might be the problem
