Default sohc head cracked between cylinders? is this still usable?

in the picture i have attached, between the number 1&2 pistons there is a broken piece, im asuming that this head is now garbage, please inlighten me. this was the cause of my D16a6 taking 10psi. it also cause the block to have the same side chunk missing between the sleeves, it didnt actually effect the sleeves, just the section between 1&2 sleeves, is the block garbage also?

if a chunk is missing from the head or block, it'd be far cheaper to buy a different block/head than fix it (unless there is a lot of money in it)

you can get it welded up, but then you need the head resurfaced and the chambers fix. but if it's a stock head, you can look at getting one for 50 bucks or less.

If you try and run that head it will only run on 2 cylinders
