would it be smart to trade my USDM itr gunmetals +$150 for some 16" white jdm type r rims, both mint condition with brand new tires.

Search EEK's posts. I'm sure he's posted pics of his jdm front black ITR with the 16in CW wheels.

If you really like it, do it. I see people selling ITR wheels locally for $300-400 all the time, and the JDM wheels go for well more than that on websites so I'd say its not a bad deal.

 

yeah i like the look, if anything i work at a body shop so painting the jdm rims to gunmetal isnt a problem. im not concerned about color, im just asking if its worth it. thanks for the help!

I payed $500 for my jdm 16's in gunmetal with trading my stock gunmetal 15's. all were mint with new tires

You can do the math though.. You can get mint JDM 16's in white with no tires for about 550. Add the value of the tires and you'll have a rough estimate on what those JDM ITRs are worth. Mint set of USDM Gms go for about 500-600. Add $150 and you up to about a 700ish value. Seems about an equal trade to me. If anything your making out since even a cheap set of tires will run you about 300 bucks + install/balance.

Its not that bad of deal if thats what you mean. The "smartest" thing is to drive around on the wheels you have.

 

hell i just sold my jdm 16's for gm itrs + 400 so yeah gettem!
