ok, so check it.. e-brake light acting up
To start things off i have a 1991 accord lx automatic. All of my wires are plugged up. Just recently my e-brake light on my dash started coming on when I was turning. When it started it only came on if i was taking a corner much faster than most people would. However, now its starting to do it at lower more average speeds. The light comes on when taking left or right turns it makes no differance. Also it has sometimes come on when i have just nailed the gas, all the way through first then stops when it hits second. This in no way effects the way my car drives since my e-brake doesnt work anyway, it just irritates me. Anybody got a clue?

If the brake fluid level is low check for leaks, or it may be time to change your pads or shoes. usuially the front calipers take most of the fluid to keep the piston extended. start with the basics, but the fluid doesnt just dissapear, so topping it up and not knowing why is useless.

when you push the pistons back into the calipers to make room for the new pads, the fluid goes back into the resivoir, which increases the level, and the light goes away, thats why I suggested to check the brakes after he checks for leaks.
If you just top up the resivoir the light would go off, but when you went to do the brakes, the fluid would spill out because it would be over full.

but it is still possible to burn up your fluid under extreme braking conditions.. runs em too hard, your fluid will start to boil and bubble away so to speak.
i just played with the brake fluid....ummmm plastic slider??? and it seems to correct itself. (the thing under the lid) my H22, and my friends GS-R seem to have had the same issue, and this fix works for both..
