It's true. OEM bearings are color coded.
I prefer pink

i love the pink. it's loose enuf for the lube to get in, and tight enuf to have it feel real smooth......

Honda bearings are color coded for different sizes, and if you search, you will find a thead that lists all the colors and sizes. Don't listen to someone telling you to run a certain size bearing, unless the clearances are checked afterward to see if they are within specs. They might fall within specs on their engine, but might not in yours.

Machine shops can measure and install the proper size bearings for a nominal fee. But, you can also use the codes on the block, crank, and rods to determine the OEM bearing size. If you have measuring tools at home, like a micrometer and bore gauge, you can also measure that way for bearing sizes. After you have your bearings installed with what should be the right size, you can then use plastigauge as a final check to see if they fall within specs. Good luck.
