O2 sensor extension?
checked my code today..63 secondary o2 for my ITR with a drag kit....i have a 3" carsound cat with a bung after it..is there any special wires needed to extend the stock o2 sensor wires?? i heard o2 sensor wires are different from standard wires..also i have the o2 simulator still sitting in my room...does that really work?? or should i extend my o2 sensor wires?? I would greatly apprciate your info!
I had to extend the wires on my O2 sensor. I just soldered some wires on there with no problems. And yes the simultor works, but if you go standalone you wont really need it.

O2 wire extension is not that big of a deal, just use the same GA. wire.
i ran my car for 60k miles like that before the heater stopped working. now i'm useing an aftermarket O2 that u have to put together because it has no connector with it. good luck

...time to bring out the sodder gun..but probable just install the o2 simulator until i go standalone..but for now money is a serious issue
actually, if you want to be completly safe, stock wires are insulated. Sometimes regular wire can get bad interferance signals. You should be ok though cause ive used regular wire my self...........Mike
