Default Rattle noise

Its coming from my driver side door, only hear it when the windows down? and I hit a bump. Sounds like something in the door or under the car.

Is your air vent cap secure on the passenger side? Mine came loose when I got the car, and was making noises until I made sure it was secured in place.

Ill check it tomorrow, but the noise sounds like metal rattling. Very low tone though. If the windows up I don't hear it??

Well the problem I had was with the vent. And it went away after I fixed it. You got a new car, can always stop by dealer and have them take a quick look. I hope it's nothing inside the door, I have read posts saying window was loose and stuff like that.

How much they charge you to install that? I did it myself, very easy. Just unscrew some screws get rid of the old plastic in there then screw the guards on and done.

Yeah tell them to fix it, once your warranty runs out, they wouldn't fix it for free even if you beg them lol.

I had a rattle similar to that and it turned out to be the drain pipes from the sunroof. They run down the pillars and they aren't secured at all, they're just kinda stuffed in there. My dealer taped them to the pillar and viola, no more rattle.

My car has now been to my Honda dealer 4 times for a rattle coming from my passenger side door and they have not been able to fix it at all. In fact after leaving it there the last time for 2 full days they only made it worse.

They told me after contacting Honda of America and Honda of Canada that they have had reports of a similar rattle but have yet to determine where it is coming from or what might be causing it.

I just got off the phone with my dealer and i will be bringing in my car on Wednesday and leaving it for the day to have a representative from Honda of Canada take a look at my car to try and find the source of this problem.

I really hope they can fix it because I have had a set of coilovers sitting in my house for two weeks now and I have just been hesitating putting them on because I would hate for them to blame the rattle on my car being lowered.

Yeah I hope they find the problem also. It turns out they want to keep my car for a full two days again to try and locate the rattle. I'd love to hear what they would say if they still can't eliminate the rattle.

I'd hate to say it but that is exactly why I am not putting the 12" Alpine Type X I have in my Si.

Should be picking up my car from the dealer today after 2 days of having representatives from Honda of Canada driving it around and troubleshooting the car to try and find the source of the annoying rattle I have had since the day I got the car.

Alright well I picked my car up from my Honda dealer last night after work after they had it for 2 full days to try and find the source of the rattle coming from the passenger side of my car.

Honda of Canada sent two representatives to the dealership where I bought my car from in order for them to troubleshoot my car and another customers car.

They ended up coming to the conclusion the rattle noise wasn't coming from the passenger side door panel but that it was coming from the ECU holding bracket underneath the passenger side kick panel and they replaced the bracket and properly insulated the area and so far so good the rattle seams to be gone fore now! Too bad it took 5 trips to the dealer to finally get the problem solved.
