Default Drag turbo install problems need help!

Ok. the setup is stock 99 gsr with a drag turbo kit. The problem is that the turbo won't spool up. The bov goes off, but no boost. The boost gauge only shows it going form 20 to 0 never going past 0 and into boost. I've checked all the vacuum lines and they look fine, but when I revved up the engine and let the throttle go no air was coming out of the bov. I also checked to make sure the silicone connectors, and none of them poped off. The fuel pump turns on as it should and the fmu seems to be working. The car also has no downpipe on as of now. The car really lags even slower than stock. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Take off the inlet filter and rev the engine to see if the compressor wheel is spinning. Is your oil feed/return hooked up correctly?

Well its not going to boost in neutral enough to blow off anyhow. Maybe your boost controller or gauge is hooked up incorrectly or just not working properly. When you tried to boost are you feeling anything? How loud is the bov? Even at 0 psi it blows off a lil enough to hear it.

Are you actually driving it , or just revving it?, your car will not make boost without a load on it (Driving)
I also agree with checking that the turbo is moving freely, make sure there is nothing stuck inthe turbine (Hot can cold side) from something possobly falling into the turbo while you put it together, If that is the case, I would have a rebuilder look at it, before you start spitting metal into the combustion chamber.

BTW: Get a downpipe on there before you start melting wires under the hood!

I bet you that you didn;t install the WG correctly or without the ring, causing it to leaks all the exhaust gas out and you'll never be able to build boost...

and since you're running with no DP, you can't distinguish between a WG leaks or a DP leaks...

check the WG and put a DP on, that way you can triouble shoot your car better...

Also if i were you i would check your pipes and make sure on of them didn't get blown off. I know it might sound dumb but it happened to me and i check every thing but the damn pipes. **** i was about to buy another wg cuz i thought it was that.
