Default Koni Struts for 2006-2007 Civic

Just browsing KTeller.com exhaust items and decided to look at their pricing on Koni

Upon further investigation of http://www.koni-na.com i found this...

and a place called livermore performance lists them as well although no pricing is listed

Modifying cars is a hobby not a sport, and hobbies aren't free. If you can't afford the part's you might want to start an ant farm.

lol. x2. i tottaly agree. its worth spending the extra dollars on quality stuff rather than going the cheap route/shortcuts and watching your car fall apart down the way.

wow so 6 bills for the struts and 4 bills for ground control coilovers.

although it is a quality setup ill pass. i'd rather spend a $1000 on function & form, D2 or omni coilovers. either of these would provide a great ride for the street. if you're a hardcore track guy then i guess but not everyone on this site tracks their cars.

Yeh 1grand is a lot. I was also looking into F2s, Ht user: P-world quoted me 1100+ for F2's. I was hoping OmniPower made their full coilovers and I was gonna go that route since i dont track my car and it would be fine for daily driving.

Tein is riding on its name now, their products are actually pretty shitty compared to the other ones on the market. Their high end stuff maybe, but their intro products suck *****.

I'd rather get Koni than Omni. Just from reading about Omni's overall quality issues on all products.

I feel all of those people knocking the price. These are an advertised price, keep in mind better pricing can be obtained by sending emails, PM's, and placing phone calls. KTeller may have to abide by MAP pricing and can't advertise lower prices. Also keep in mind that other companies may be able to beat the price too. Furthermore its a new product for a new platform pricing usually is higher during initial release.

The main reason I created this post was to acknowledge the fact that Koni's are now available, nothing more.

I mentioned in another thread that I don't want coilovers. I have a CRX that I'm putting together and rather dump the cash on that. If I had coilovers on my FA5 they would never be used for the purpose intended, and never be adjusted. I want a quality strut to go with my Neuspeed race springs. This will provide the look and ride I want.

Aren't coilovers prohibited in certain classes anyway?

it is "an ant farm" not "and ant farm." What are you... 4 yrs old? Like I said on your other post, stop going around and reply with your non-sense material.

here's a run-through of why pre-built coilovers like tein, etc are junk... scroll down to "shocks, springs, coilovers!!!"

and all i did was simply state that i wouldn't spend that much money on them because i dont track my car.

i only want coilovers so my car would be dumped. springs can't pull of the look that i want. so if i can get full coilovers cheaper then the koni/GC combo then that's what ill get.

i wasn't trying to kill your thread or new discovery....just voicing an opinion.

Are you 100% certain of this? Would you mind letting us know what you are basing your information off of?

Upon further investigation of http://www.koni-na.com i found this
