H22 gasket differences?
I couldn't find anything on this in searches...
I'm about half-way done with my H22 rebuild now, and I need to get a complete gasket kit to replace the old ones. I'm not 100% sure on what I need to buy because my setup is a little different.
I've got a built H22a1 block and an H22a4 head. I already know I need an A1 head gasket, so that's not my concern. People have said the A1 and A4 heads are identical, and that the blocks are the only real difference. If so, will ALL the UPPER gaskets (Intake manifold gasket, valve cover gasket/grommet/seals, cam seals, valve seals, injector O-rings, etc) of an A1 head work on an A4 head? The reason I ask is because it would be much cheaper to buy a complete A1 gasket set (since I need it's head gasket) than to buy an A4 set and and an A1 head gasket separately (leaving the A4 gasket as a scrap part). Any feedback would help, since I'm trying to make a purchase soon, if not today. Thanks!

the bulk of the items like the IM gakset, header gakset, butterfly plate gaskets, tb gakset, fuel inejctgor orings, valve cover gakset/grommets and all that are the same, but i cant be 100% that EVERY single piece is the same.
waht iw ould do is just get the A1 gakset set, then order wahtever doesnt fit, which most likely wont be much, if any.
