Brake booster/mc help needed...
I'm already planning on adding a 15/16 mc off a non-abs 90-91 prelude to my crx but I'm wondering if it is worth it to replace the booster with the lude one while I'm at it. Does it fit and is it any better than the stock one. The brake setup will be rear disks w/ proportioning valve, 90-91 ex 10.3" front conversion and stainless steel braided lines. Thanks
Warning with the booster. don't waste your time unless yours is gone(broken). There is a certain little trick with brake boosters and matching them to cars accordingl. I would just get the MC and not worry. Brake boosters are serial number specific to cars. If you don't match the number with the one to your current brake booster, the brake pedal adjustment will not be correct.
Thanks, that was the kind of info I was looking for. If you could can you please explain how to go about matching them, I'm curious.
i had no choice to replace my booster, after i purchased a 90-93 teg
15/16 mc. it didnt bolt up to my booster, so i just
installed the 90-93 teg booster....
it all bolts up fine, hard lines and all... 90 hatch.

Yup I have a 90 to 93 teg booster, mc and porportioning valve in my 88 crx. I have 91 ex front spindels w/92 to 96 prelude vtec rotors and accord wagon calipers and teg rear disk. Works great not a problem at all.
