Default Brian Crower Stage 2 vs. 403 vs. 404 which one for streetable non-vtec?

I just souced out an LS block and got my rods. My sk2 IM and TB are already on the way. My final peice of the puzzle is camshafts. I have searched and searched but cannot find a comparison of these three cams. My goal is around 170+whp. The setup will be:

LS Block 1.8L
Pr3 Pistons 10.5:1 compression
Arias Forged Rods
Hand port/polish job on PR4 head
Skunk2 Intake Manifold
Skunk2 Throttle Body
Turbo Edit
????CAMS????

What do you guys think? I really want this car to be daily driveable. However, I don't mind a lopey idle. I have heard that the BC stage 2's come in between the 403 and 404's but end up producing more power. Does this make sense? This is what the BC dealer told me.

Please give me some constructive input as I need to order cams on MONDAY.

Thanks

Absloutley go with the 404's if ur gonna be running 10.5:1 comp. I ran 403"s on a stock ls bottom end with great results for the past 2 years. I made 149 whp with boltons and hondata so u should def. be in the 170 range with ur headwork and a good tune The 404's are perfectly streetable with a good tune also. Hope this helps

I am just worried about the bad idle that everyone talks about it. Is the idle really that bad?

nope, it doesnt have to be. tuning is just alot more important for them to idle well though.

heres mine

i have since played with the cam gears a bit more and it makes the idle worse.

My son is running much the same set-up without the TB and a good header, making 163 hp and it runs well. He's using Crower 404's. Good luck!
