Default Lowering/Drops Pics

I am going to lower my car pretty soon. But i dont know if i should pick 1.4 inch, 1.8'', or 2''. Right now, my car is at stock height. I am going to order some 17''x7'' rims pretty soon. So what would you guys suggest? Picture of your car lowered would be awesome! (dont forget to mention the height dropped)

Please and thank you

You should get familiar with reading material that covers modifying your suspension. If you get new springs, you will have to get aftermarket shocks/struts, and possibly a camber kit (depending on how low you're going).

Check out some of the rides in the picture thread to get an idea of some people's setups. don't be afraid to use the 'instant message' feature to ask users questions.

I think a 1.5-1.8" drop would be just fine if you plan on running 17" rims. You may have to run a 40 series tire to avoid rubbing issues.

In all, you're looking at about a $600 minimum unless you want to be bouncing all over the place on blown shocks. What is the car being used for, and will you be paying somebody to do the work?

u going for looks or performance.

THe "ideal" drop height for an em2 is 1.5ish "

On the other hand a 2" drop looks way better.
