ok. now heres a question that i have been trying to research all over the internet and i cant figure it out. i just bought my first car which is a 1997 honda civic dx its a 2dr and a 5spd...this model didnt come with power steering. i was wondering that since i want power steering if there is anything i can do to convert this so that it will have power steering. i dont know if the pump or anything will fit on or whatever. i know about engines and all that but im not sure about the whole power steering deal. if it is possible to have power steering put onto my car how much do you think it would all cost w/ everything that i would need. even if they are used parts. if anyone could help me i would really appriciate it. thanks.

 

You need a power steering rack and pinion, the power steering pump and reservoir, + all of the power steering lines and the fluid cooler. Lots of money and time, which you may not have, seeing that you are driving a 97 Civic DX
