Clutch pedal adjustment?
In the helms it says to loosen locknut a and locknut c, and then turn the pushrod to adjust the pedal. What does this mean?
Is it going to mess up engagement as it is now? All I really need to do is stop the clutch from going all the way to the floor, I need to stop it about an inch earlier.

Adjusting your clutch pedal is easy . . . the hard part is holding the flashlight in an akward position. All it takes is a 12mm wrench and you back the nut off and twist the rod in out out depending on what you want. All it does it move the point of engagement up or down. Too much either way and you'll know somthing is weird. You'll either have trouble getting it into gear or the clutch will slip.
But what about pedal travel? Is that adjustable as well, or only engagement? I just want my clutch pedal to stop about an inch earlier.
put a small 4x2 board on your firewall behind the clutch and adjust clutch engagement accordingly.
Honestly I think your stuck with how the clutch is I have yet to see a clutch pedal that doesnt use the floorboard as the "bump stop".

Ok, thats what I was wondering. Hmmm, I will have to rig something up, because when I press the clutch to the floorboard it makes a noise like something is grinding, but if I back off a centimeter or so, it goes away...
I replaced the throwout and pilot bearings when I put the clutch in a week or two ago, and I lubed everything up as well. I will just JB weld a nut or something to the back of the pedal and will see how that works, if the sound comes back I will remove the nut and drop the tranny and replace whatever needs to be replaced.
