Default fuel and compressrion ratio question...

i had 450cc injectors with an 10.5:1 compression ratio and 7psi and my car ran awsome. i now have 8.57:1 compression ratio and thought i woiuld start off with the same map and then make changes nessecary. however, my car is leaning out. i cant add any more fuel as its running at 101% injector duty cycle. i think img going to have to upgrade injectors. so my question is this: will a low compression engine require alot more fuel than a high compression engine? i have added like 20% and its still leaning way out at full throttle. thanks
