Hey I need to know if the lower timing belt covers are the same for LS and GSR motors.

go to http://www.sonsacuraparts.com and look it up for an LS and GS-R and compare the part numbers.

 

They arent the same part number.. thanks for your help

 

Ok even though the part numbers are different the parts are exactly the same. I put the LS cover on the GSR and it was a perfect fit.

Just for future reference, since i already bought a "GSR" cover because i went by the part numbers.

2001 LS: 11810-P72-A00
2001 GSR: 11810-P72-A00

Same f'n part number!!

If you are mixing OBD2 and OBD1 then they won't work without trimming.

 

I have a OBD0 LS motor that i took the cover off, 1990.. I checked the Sons Acura website and they weren't the same.

Anyway they fit I tried it, just want to let anyone that needs to know.
