is it possible to replace the pulley on the alternator?
during my accident the alternator on my ls smashed into the frame, making the pulley too narrow. now the belt is constricted and looks like it'll rip if ran too long like that. how do i stop the pulley from spinning to take it off? is it possible to find a pulley seperately to buy?

most shops will take it off for free if you just stop by and ask them but yes they come off and yo do need a impact to take it off

sweet, i have access to an impact so that's not a problem. now, can you buy just the pulley anywhere without buying a whole new alternator?

i think i have a stock pulley kicking around id sell for 10 shipped..let me know and ill take a look around for it
