Hi. I thought my CVs were bad because I get a knocking noise when I take left hand turns (not every time...just sometimes). But, when I went to take a look, both my CV boots were intact...on each side. Then I thought about it...the noise is more of a knocking noise...and not a clicking noise.

Does anyone know what this could be?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

 

i think i have the same problem but when i steer or go slightly to the right. but i get more of a howling noise. not knocking. When i turn left it goes away.

even tho you axles still look intact you inner joints on the axle can still wear and go bad which makes the knocking sound.
