Hey guys, I know I haven't posted alost but I read this fourm every day and you all are great people and a great source of information!.

Here is the deal, I have a 88 Crx DX, just today I started her up after a DPFI to MPFI and added vtec. Used write ups from honda-tech to accomplish this. Car started fine after not runing for 7 months. Throwing code 8 (TDC Sensor) and 15 (ingition signal sensor) still trying to figure out how to fix these. car is runing a chiped pr3 ecu with modified dx harness.

When turning the key to off the car still runs. I've searched but i haven't been able to find anything.

One other thing is that im trying to get the pass axle in, i've tired 3 diffrent axles all in the years of 90-93 integra. It needs to go in about 3/4inch more into the tranny but will not budge. The tranny is a j1 with a ls 5th and a LS top half of the tranny. Should i be having these problems? Any help would be great guys! let the rex live been sleeping for to long!!

my only guess would be the ignition switch but i am not completely sure.

 

The only part about the wiring i was kinda confused about was runing a wire from A15 to the resistor box, i taped that wire at the ecu and ran it, could that be a problem?

i have exactly the same code like you ,i fix my code 15 i guess but still have to work on my code 8,what dizzy u using,??8 is tdc and 15 is ignitor!!

 

not sure what kind of dizzy, the dizzy is less then one year old though. I got the axle in the car and she's moving and driving nicely. ITR 4-1s sound nice. my only real big concern right now is that i cannot turn it off by the KEY! i keep pulling the plug on the dizzy for it to shut off! I have no idea.

when u turn off the ignition, is the guage cluster turn off also?? is the temperature guage and rpm guage still operating??

 

Yes when i turn the car off the guage cluster turns off as well. I just went for a drive and then the tach, temp, and gas guage stoped working. Noticed i blew fuse #1 i belive, changed it. The cluster started working untill i turned the car on and it blew again. One problem after another damn cars! hah. Im mind boggled about now!
