Default tranny rebuild

so i had a question i put a new clutch after i blew my motor and my mechanic said that i needed a new second gear and third gear pretty soon this i already knew because of all my miss shifts and grinds. but my question is how much would it cost to to rebuld and replace my second and third gear or is it worth it to just buy a new tranny and try and sell my old one for a couple hundred bucks. so i guess what im asking is anyone know a shop that rebuilds trannys

well i have thought about getting a type-r tranny but i dont want the jdm final drive i think the gear ratios would be too short for boost and i have already purchased a limited slip differential
