Default Brake question

my 93 hatch has integra rear disc brake swap but they never put a gsr integra master brake cylinder and brake booster...... i have a set of 00 SI front brakes sitting here and should i just find a set of integra fronts for my hatch also or just use the 00 SI brakes for the front brake swap.... and last question, so does the gsr master brake cylinder and booster swap right on to my hatch with no mods and if so does it have to be from a certain year integra ?

thanks for the info ahead of time

The part you need is the proportioning valve. The master and the booster will give more solid braking with less pedal, but the prop valve will make the front/ rear bias correct. This is all assuming the car did not have rear discs stock.

you'll be fine with the si front brakes bro, I'd suggest you get the prop valve/mc/booster installed first before you do the front brake upgrade though.

Therefore, you should want a larger master cylinder to push this more fluid. General rule is…with your stock Civic DX, with the stock front calipers, keep your 13/16” MC. Any bigger and your pedal will be too stiff."

*if you don't want to swap integra knuckles, you could always use integra type-r calipers on DX knuckles w/ 10.3" rotor

OR keep your current set-up and get new pads & blank rotors, always works for me. if you got money to spend, good brake fluid & ss lines
