Default JDM gsr, which head to use?

I have a jdm gsr in my whoopdie right now and have a few questions. I also have a 2nd gen b16 head laying around with some jacked up lmas. I was wondering if there would be more of a benefit getting the b16 head ported and polished and using a thing headgasket to put on my gsr or should I just use the gsr head and port and polish it?

No matter the head I will probably be using some skunk2 stage 2 cams in them. I would like to know which would get me more power?

THanks

Id say throw some P30 pistons in the GSR Block, get a buddy club/spoon/mugen headgasket and throw the skunk2 cams in, get a tune and have fun

totally off what OP was asking. I'd use the gsr head. ported/polished. B16 will lower your compression. Though you can use a thin headgasket, but why do that when you can just use oem

gsr head has a better casting to work with for port n polish + valvejob, keeps your compression up, AND has pentroof style chambers

*waits for acydphryk to post his dynograph of his b20vtec setup with gsr head*

The only reason I was opting to use the b16 head was because I heard it flows better than the gsr cause its very similar to the itr head. Any more inputs?

joe from alaniz flowed them both (gsr vs. b16)...they flow dead even pretty much.
