Default b20t b16t and a few other questions

ok i have been reading up in F.I. for awhile and in someways am alittle overwhelmed. i am finnally ready to go turbo but lately i have been wondering if i should hold of alittle longer, i have a b16 it runs but is smoking and needs a rebuild, which i was ganna do when i get turbo, but lately i have been thinking about just getting a b20 and dropping it in and turboing it and maybe sticking my vtec head on. i can get a b20 really really cheap through a local shop so i dont really know what would be better. i want to have the ability to make 600 or more hp and was thinking about getting a gt35r but im not sure if that is too much or if that will fit my needs. im just trying to clear up a few things before i go out and buy everything.
thanks.

the 35r can do it, (and thats about it)

b20 weak unless sleeved
b16 torqueless, trust me i know.

b16 head on a sleeved b10 block, 35r have some fun.

i was being serious.
i ran a b16 last year, had fun with it. it just made no torque.
knowing what i know now it would have been a gsr from the begining.

the 35r can do it, it will be easier with the larger displacement.
