alright so i have d15b vtec and it bogs whats wrong?

Default alright so i have d15b vtec and it bogs whats wrong?

so when i take off the engine bogs and when around 3000 rpm it picks up a little of power. any ideas? i think it i should check like the vacuum or something like that? the motor is a obd1 in my honda civic dx hatchback 1999. which is you guys should know is a obdII.

yeah.
check out the electrical system... how old are the plugs? are your battery terminals dirty? are your grounds full of dirt and not making such a great contact to the body anymore?

Also.. motor mounts. i have a '99 civic EX and my motor mounts are absolutely shot. If you have the same issue, it will affect you under 3k rpm ( look for bouncing motor when you rev through the throttle body.. ). you'll feel it.

Just some ideas. I cleaned off my electrical contacts and it helped a ton. I used to have to get into 1st gear by revving to 2500rpm.. ha ha. Now it's more like 1750.. still need to do the motor mounts.

its a 93 del sol si something like that . i just brought it to the shop and he said it was the timing

am not sure i just install a si cluster and it seems some wires aren't in the right place. my fuel and temp aren't working. the fuel light just stays on and the temp is just down.
