hey guys, I have a 95 gsr with about 140,000 miles on it and was woundering if it's still good for supercharging it. Plus what 1/4 mile time should I get with a jr supercharge kit with 6 psi if I get it for my teg?

 

u can run if the motor in good condition, all do rebuilding it and running more psi= more power faster time

 

this isn't exactly what you asked for ... but a few years ago when i was supercharged on an otherwise stock gsr, i went 13.62 @ 103 with a 2.1 60'.

stock gsr head/block
stock clutch
intake, header, stock exhaust
jackson racing BTM
8psi
full weight
eibach prokit on stock struts
all season tires.

 

oh and to answer your initial question as to whether you should supercharge it or not ... why the hell not. if there are no mechanical problems, the motor should hold up just fine.

 

i had a 94 SC GSR MADE BY JACKSON RACING with 430 cc rc injectors and full exhaust CIA GSR Block w/ls crank , rods and pistons and went 12.3 @ 117 mph . like waas said if the car is in good mechanical shape its definatley a head turner when you hear the whine on th SC .
