I bought a bone stock 95 Integra LS back in May with plans to put my GS-R swap into, JDM front, and other things like that. My mind is starting to change and I think I want to buy an ek. hatch and do JDM Civic Type-R replica. Since I can't seem to come up with a decision myself I need some help. I need to stay clear of cops the best i can, i don't wanna be like every other ek or dc out there. What project should I start for my senior year of HS. I had a GS-R all year for my junior year, crashed it, which led me to buy another integra. What should I do?

WOW, more and more a$$holes on honda-tech everyday.

I'm looking for suggestions/point of views from other people to help lead me to my decision. if you aren't going to help then don't open the thread and leave useless comments.

 

instead of spending the money on the gsr swap / jdm conversion, just turbo the LS

 

IMO the teg is a better buy...all power options...disc brakes...stock b series....

ur gonna have to put more money into an ek to get it up to the level of a stock teg...

but in the end it's ur choice...and it really depends on which body style u like better

 

I got the car for 2200, mint condition and bone stock, but the motor has 233,000 miles on it, runs great is why i bought it, and i have a motor for it.


And i'm starting to like the ek. style better, I always like the integra, its been my favorite car since i started looking at cars in 4th grade lol. i just don't know. I kind of want to build the ek, then buy an actual ITR next year, i already had a GS-R for a year, should i stick with integra or try something differet..which would be an ek.

yeah i've already started looking into 5-lug, that would be my first mod towards a CTR replica, a friend of mine (4f hans) made one you guys may know of, niceest hatch ever!

 

In my opinion, it's much more fun with the smaller and much lighter car, and it'll always be faster with the same engine mods as the competition. I've driven Integras, and owned a few coupes, and now I have a hatch, and I think it really does feel much different than them all. That's if you can get past the econo box feel it has in comparison to the Integra. Nothing some nice seats and steering wheel and things can't fix

yah. ctr lip, ctr grill, spoon mirrors, 5-lug, ctr moldings for starters, i've been thinking about this for a while, i think i'll go ek. just gotta sell my integra now.

Not to burst your bubble, but these two things are nearly impossible to avoid in this day and age.

I would stick with the integra (for some of the reasons mentioned above), but I'm partial to them since I'm a DC2 owner myself.

ek's are fun, dc's you seem to have to worry about more. idk, i like both, jdm fronted dc..or ek?? i cant decide what want more. i dont think i can afford both a dc and an ek. as a second project, i only deliever chinese food school gets in the way of me manking any real money
