Anywho, I was using the SFI 90050 and it is a **** poor design, and they do not have ANY timing marks on them at all, I would not recommend this product to anyone. Save your money and buy an ATI!
I used this on my car for about 1 month and the damper came apart on the dyno and I was really lucky that it did not mess up anything internally. When i took the pulley off as you can see there 6 bolts holding it together and only 3 were still on the other three were finger tight. (Prior to installing it I checked all the bolts and they WERE all good and tight.)
Now when I called Professional Products and I explained the problem, they said that they have a lifetime warranty and changed the design on them and the problem is fixed. Just send us your old one and we will replace it. I asked them if they could supply me one that had some timing marks on it? they replied with "hondas do not have timing marks on the dampers". i responded with "how bout i send you back your SFI damper and a factory honda pulley and then you tell if they have any marks on them?"
Couple of weeks went by and they sent me the same style damper that i had before with once again no timing marks. I did not reinstall

I agree with you too. I've been running one for the past 1.5~2 years, and I was constantly having to check and tighten those 6 allen bolts. Even with Locktite, the bolts kept backing out. My friend had the same "dampner" and had the same problems. We both ended up with blown motors, but we can't pinpoint the damage to the dampner, however his main bearings were toast.
On our new motors, we will both be using Fluidampr's.

Keep in mind this usually only happens with a twin disc clutch.

my question is, how did it get an SFI rating if it sucks so bad? i don't disagree with you at all, my question is just me wondering how easy it is to get SFI approval.
The problems I have had with them had nothing to do with it getting SFI or not. Just that it did not dampen the harmonics created by the clutch.

i have purchased one for my b series and i think a few things need to be cleared up. the 90050 for the b series does infact come with timing marks. now i would like to know what engines these where on a what kind of hp numbers where u running. i too feel a little uneasy about the 6 allan key bolts but i think i will be ok with keeping an eye on them and possibly using permanent lock tight. i'm only running around 350whp

expletive those dampers, I had one on mine and i torqued the pulley bolt and then one the dyno the bolt backed it way out, also did the damper. It found it way to the end and throw the motor off balance and snap the snout off the crank and destroyed the whole motor.
