well im gettin my car shot for 1000 and its gonna be two base coats then the final will be a mixed base and clear blended together...will this shine just as good and as long as shooting the clear coat seperately?? i heard i cant buff it out either after to take off the orange peel and what not...is this also true??

That sounds retarded. Single stage can be wet sanded and buffed but it really doesnt make much sense. If you want a really nice pro finish thats been cut and buffed base / clear is the way to go. That method you described sounds half ***.

avoid that combo at all costs. ive seen first hand what bleded base/clear will do to a car. it looks like complete trash.

do base clear, you wont regret it at all. single stage is horrible.

I actually use Dupont at my new job. I am really a PPG fan and have used it since I first started. Both are good but I just love the way PPG shines and sprays. Dupont's clear seems to be thinner as to PPG is kinda thick. Like I said before, I shoot Dupont at work but for my own cars I use PPG
