Default h22a revlimit

well i set my revlimiter at 8000 rpms
do i need to turn it down or will it be ok to leave it there
btw the h22 is stock

as long as your not up there 24/7, its fine.

stock revlimit is 7648 rpm

Anything over the factory limit is starting to play with fire, but my stock H22 saw 8000+ repeatedly without catastophic failure.

It should be fine, it's only a couple hundred rpms higher than stock revlimit. The only reason it's at 7800 rpms cause ur not makin anymore power beyond that, in fact u dont make any power beyond 7200 rpms if i remember correctly, so ur engine should be able to take it just fine, u'll just be losing all ur power if u rev it that high.

new problem i have a 96ek with a jdm h22a in it and im throwing the crank posit sensor?? wtf its an obd1 ecu and motor only thing obd2 on it would be the body

mine once survived around prob 10k rpm (misshift 3=&gt;2 at 8k rpm ) but 8k wont do to much damage, but like already said, there's not use doing it unless you want to max your top speed with a little bit
