Im getting an 07 Si in a few weeks...test drove it loved it...so hi everyone. But anyways alot of my buddies are telling me ill never be able to adjust from driving a turboed car to the Si.

I got an 03 SRT now...what a pile of junk that is but...anyone elce move from a turbo car this? If so how is it treatin ya =D

 

A couple of guys on here went from Sti's or Evo's to an Si... i think Bluerocket was 1 of em

 

The car feels different, you don't get the torque a turbo car would, but a lot of people seem to really enjoy it

 

yeah, I think blue rocket owned an Evo before his si...

But I can just say that honda N/A power is unlike anything else. It is great, you will love it no matter what. Maybe it isn't as fast out of the gate, but it is fun as hell to drive

 

I had an Evo also before My Si. I have to say I love my Si, they are both great cars.

you had an evo...but wernt u the one posting a topic on how to make the Si stock exhaust quieter. dont tell me your evo wasnt louder than an Si..

you make the smallest bit of sense there is.

 

Evo's aren't louder than an SI. You can hear the turbo whine over everything... My SI is worlds louder than my friend's stock evo 9 mr, especially in vtec.

But yeah you won't miss the turbo neon too much, we do have vtec which can be compared to boost beacuse it really bolts the car foward.

it isn't as fast as your previous car though.

 

yeah i only got it to vtec once in second gear but it was cool i was surprised and it sounded badass so yeah im excited about it i cant wait.

true.. the turbo chokes the exhaust.. that's what you end up hearing most (spool up)... now you put a 3" catback on an EVO and they are loud as hell.. not so much stock though

 

zomg bbq mad vtak son, ull run 7's all day now... stock. crazy stuff

 

get a CAI (injen) And the sound is even better!

 

you'll get used to it.

went from a turbo'ed B20/Vtec to NA B20/V and i hated it at first but it grew on me. i still love boosted cars but the Si is a great daily drive.

 

Hey Man I had a 06 Gti and a Turbo'd 300whp Scion tC. I like those cars especially the tC but there just something about honda's. By the way I have a 07 Civic Si Sedan Galaxy Gray with Injen CAI and Hondata relfash. I love it.
