Default build up my h22a1 or just go jdm

i was thinking of going n/a on my 96 lude, but i have an h22a1 in it. i was going to get JUN camshaft kit, JUN super pistons, ceramic DC-S headers, skunk2 int. manifold, aem v2 CAI, skunk2 valves and greddy evo2 catback exhaust. should i just put those on my h22a1, or should i get a jdm h22a and put it on that?

if you are getting pistons, then there is no point in getting the JDM H22

stick with what you got, sounds like a good plan. i wouldn't worry about "jdm" so much, the h22 w/ the JUN pistons/cams would be sick.

if you have that amount of money, you have the money to get a better header.

what are you going to use to tune the engine?

I only say get the JDM motor,

to build up, with out the car being down for a long time.

build it, then swap it.

JDM h22a obd1
USDM H22a1 obd1

Pretty much identical when it comes to specs..

Lots of headers are better that dc sports....search out the word header on the big red search button and you will see a ton of good h22 header threads w dynos and what not.

the jun stuff is overrated and overpriced. believe me i have used it in the past and there are better much cheaper options to go with.

dont waste your money on the jdm motor, dc header or the skunk valves and intake mani.

w/ the money you save you can sleeve the motor you already have, go w/ some weisco or cp 89mm pistons, good set of less expensive cams and valvetrain and that will make alot more power than your overpriced stock displacement jun piston setup even while keeping the stock intake and exhaust manifolds.
