Default Tungsten shift ****

Well it took me a little less than 6 monthes from conception to reality. I finally got my Tungsten shift **** in the mail. I wont be able to install it till next month but my wife said it weighs in at a little over 2.5 Lbs.

I don't think I will be the first person to point this out... but isnt tungsten poisonous?

Tungsten dust would be poisness. They make jewlery out of almost a identical tungsten alloy.

I have to ask if you bought that from a company or you had that milled because that is not a cheap material. My bucking bars cost like $200 bucks and they are in that weight range.

shift **** looks fantastic.. I can't imagine 2.5lbs though.. I just got my circuit hero **** in the mail yesterday and it's a little over a pound... props to you

They are 100% tungsten. They are used to buck rivets and the weight helps with the recoil from the rivet gun.

I was thinking the same thing, yes we did. Thanks the circuit hero was my insperation..lol. I actully ordered a shift kit and bushings just because of all that added weight.

damn. thats it screw a turbo or even a s/c.... i'm buying a platinum shift ****!... lmao j/k that **** is sweet man. After you get it on and have all your glory you should hook us up with info on how to get one

I would be happy to provide some but I need 10 people at $120 or 20 at $100. The more of them that I purchase the cheaper they are. You dont even want to know what mine cost.lol.
The compasition is 90% tungsten 6% nickel 4% Iron.

That would include shipping though. ^^ I bet you do but it is almost embarasing, but my search for a shift **** that my ring won't scratch is over.

Allright sounds like a plan. Thread pitch is 10 x 1.5 so it should work on all Honda's.

Yeah make sure you don't unscrew that bad boy, and swallow it, that can be fatal,

I have the CTR shift **** and love the ball type shift ****, have fun.

I used a ball of clay to get the proper size. I think that it fits nicely in a average size hand. It is also counter sunk, so that it will sit nice and low.

with the density of tungsten the size is not going to be very large.

My tungsten rings is the reason that I came up with the idea. They scratch the crap out of everything else. The weight is just a sweet byproduct of the material.
