Both bodystyles look the same to me.

..What actually does the entire chassis consist of? Does one have a longer wheelbase or width or something? Can't be sunroofs.. because GSR's have sunroofs. Man, it's just bugging me. I tried searching for "DC2 DC4" & "chassis differences" unsuccessfully.

 

Well I know of one minor difference. The GSR comes with the stock front upper strut bar and it mounts on the strut towers with these 2 little bolts that stick out of them on each end. Those do not exist in the DC4, only on the DC2. I dont know of any other differences myself.

the DC2 is the G3 integra. and i don't know what the DC4 is

 

DC2 is a 3rd generation GSR.
DC4 is a 3rd generation LS, SE, etc.

Maybe...

 

DC2 is the 3rd generation Integra coupe with a B18C. A DC4 is when it's equipped with a B18B. Look at your VIN numbers. A 4 door chassis is a DB.

 

The DC2 has a slightly larger rear antiroll bar (14mm vs 13mm IIRC)

Heeee's right! The SE is a DC4, but has the GSR suspension, so you can't really tell by suspension. It's mainly the engine difference.

 

you are right--looks like you won't have to change the screen name. but db is not only specified for the 4 doors. gotta be more specific and state that the db7 and db8 are the 4 doors; a db2 is a g2 gsr.

 

DA is a first gen teg.

 

I knew the DB8 was a GSR, but wasn't sure about the nonvtec model. Interesting the g2 GSR is a DB2. I didn't know that. Thanks!

 

I thought a DC2 was a 2dr, and a DC4 was a 4dr.

I have a DC4 chassis code. I have a 2dr LS. I don't see how they can change the whole chassis codes on mere "bolt on" bars. The GSR has a different strut tower bar than the R; should they be changed? ..and the ITR sway bar is thicker too, right? (22mm vs. 20mm?)

Changing the motors is a huge thing. Especially if you look at the differences between the b18b, b18c1 and b18c5. The ITR's chassis code isn't all that different from a GSR, just DC2 vs. DC2R

 

A dc2 is a type r while a dc4 is anything from ls to gsr if im not mistaken

 

^completely wrong a dc2 is a gsr or itr body code. all the difference info can be found on Wikipedia

where on earth is a dc1 a thing? that's wrong anyways. dc2=itr/gsr... nuff ****** said. once you put a turbo k in it, it becomes rather pointless.

 

DC4 is a DC4 because it's VIN number has "DC4" in it, same with the DC2.
