Default CONFUSED about amps and stuff

ok.. i have a 800w 4-channel amp, 4 door speakers and 1 kicker L7 sub.. im not sure how the technician hooked everything up but my sub BARELY hits at all, its like i dont even have any bass. im thinking that hes got the amp hooked up to too many different things. i bought the sub/amp used off someone and when it was in his car it hit really hard... so to my question

if i only have 2 door speakers wired can i use the rest of the wattage (from the other 2 speakers that are wired) to add more power my sub so it quakes like it should?

well thats a start,,,,,, is the sub a svc or dvc? Also add the model number of the amp. I be the first to say that the amp does not have enough power.

Well first you have the wrong amp. Second I need to know the ohm of the sub. 2,4,6. The installer probably wired it diffrently then what it was before. Thats why it does not sound the same in your car.

I have no helpful advice, but DAMN! Targa amp?? I remember that **** from back in the day! They made Urban Audio Works stuff, which I used to rock in my '88 Escort hatch...
