i just installed the the afc neo in my car, my question is were or what do i hook up the orange wire to, it says its for the illumination or audio, everything else works fine, please no smart remarks about the neo, my choice to buy it , ive check everywhere on this site and no help, just alot of smart remarks about using the neo , so if you dont have any good info dont reply at all, thanks alot

 

that wire is used in junction with your headlight switch. basically it connected to your headlight switch when you turn the switch on the neo will dim for night driving. not the most necessary function but useful.

The "orange wire" mentioned is usually the "Illumination" wire on aftermarket stereo head units and adapter harness, which is connected to the headlight switch, as mentioned by "fridaytech". If your head unit is stock, I can dig up the wire color for you.
