im pretty sure your wrong i have seen both headers and they are different the 05-06 header is pretty much the same as the 02-04 header

that's correct, the usdm header for all years of the type s is a 4 into 1 design while the jdm itr header is a 4 into 2 into 1. you will probably see a few horsepower from upgrading, but it's probably not worth the hastle of buying the header and sway bar.

No, both are 4-2-1 headers. The USDM has a divider in it that keeps the 2 runners separate until after the bend in the double wall pipe attached to the cat.
It is definitely NOT worth the hassle going to a JDM header.
