Default 95 jdm h22 into a 89 si hatch

i dont see any threads about putting this massive motor into a ef hatch and i was wondering if any has done this swap into an ef. if so all the info would hep. i know i have to bump out a couple of things but just wanted to know if someone had first hand experience with this bad *** swap. oh yea what problems could i run into after the swap is done?

the swap will be a 95 jdm or usdm h22a/h22

Its a lot of work...took me two months of constant work after work and all weekends and I had it done. Well that was painting the car and in there somewhere too. I also work at a honda shop so I had access to any tools and spare parts I could ever dream up. That and I work on these for a living so knowledge is a big factor too.

I will be starting a build up thread because I am stepping up to an crx si from a crx dx and putting in all my stuff from the old car. I figured it would give everyone here some pointers on the h22 swap. I just gotta remember to bring my camera home to throw up some pics.

I have put about 6k miles on it so far and it drives like a champ...no problems ever. Well not swap wise that is only thing I have has is I let someone drive it at the track and I think he was trying to shift my shifter through the dash and it had a slight grind at high rpm going into 5th after that....but the syncromesh fixxed it

I don't think I ever saw anything that really answered any questions when I searched for the same thing.....only threads for people asking about it and the ever popular h22 vs k series arguments.

I swear all anyone ever does is say go search when someone ask something that they might have seen a title about it before without knowing nothing worthwhile was posted in the thread.
