Default no not the new wheels!!!

ok so yesterday in my infinite wisdom a curb hit my new wheels and now i got wicked road rash on my passenger front wheel . but to make sure i didn't mess anything up too bad i ran a few checks to make sure that everything is ok. i got the car up to about 90 and there was no shake in the wheels and no shimmy in the wheel the alignment is a little off but i can get that fixed the brakes work fine and there seems to no other problems aside form the scratches on the wheel i only hit it at like 8mph but is there anything else that i should check for or get checked out? thanks for any help

OUCHH!! I cringe just thinking about curbing a new set of wheels. Sounds like you just escaped with some wheel rash which I know is still a huge buzzkill.. been there done that . Anyways Id jack up the front pass. side and thoroughly inspect the hub for any abnormal play. Also take a look at the wishbone eyes and suspension bushings for any bends or obvious signs of stress. Good Luck

From what you described, sounds like you will be fine, except for the physiological pain you experienced.
