Recently got a new civic (european hatch) with automatic intermittent wipers. my battery went flat as the ignition was left on. since jumpstarting it from another car the automatic rain sensing wipers are not working. they act as normal intermittent wipers instead. any ideas on what is causing the problem?

 

i dont think ours come with that.... although i know that my wipers get faster when i speed up when i have them on intermittent.

 

i noticed that as well. it made me happy lol

 

Euro version has rain sensing wipers?! I feel like I got the shaft!

Oh wait, extreme performance summer tires + boost + rain = doesn't work.

yeah we got the shaft on a lot of things but got a lot of other good things.... canada got heated exterior mirrors... why didnt we? maybe because we have no speed limiter hah.

They also stop or slow down when you stop. Nifty little feature.
