A local guy says he has a "100% legit EG Spoon duckbill" that he paid some astonamical amount for. He's selling his car and will let me have it for $200 plus my stock EG one. I've seached but couldn't see any visable difference in the pics I saw...is there any badging on it or anyway to tell it apart from the JDMshit/CarbonCreations/VIS etc.?
I'll be checking it out in a few day in person...someone please help me out here...Thanks

I think the weaves are small in the carbon fiber plus on the back side it should say Spoon sports.
the kick on the spoon is higher of an angle, there should be a spoon logo screened on the back, it's a single weave (i think).
correct me if i am wrong. also, just looking at a spoon you will see how different they are from the knockoffs. knockoffs are very easy to spot now (i've owned a knock off before).

Thanks guys. I'll be checking it out in a few days. I'm not really a fan of the steeper angle but I'll can live with it. I'll keep an eye out for the small weave and any logo that it's suposed to have.
Thanks for the help everyone. The same kid just sold me a VIS Carbon Fiber hood for 250+stock hood. Has three horizontal scratches in it that you can't notice until you get really close. We'll let you all know if its legit or fake for the wing though!

I met up with him today. Took some pics...tell me what you guys think. He still claims it's 100% legit Spoon but I don't think it is. There's a small chip the size of a chocolatechip on the top but didn't get a pic.
******shitty cel pics******
Can't really see but it says something like "92-95 civic" and some other markings.

Nozzle cutout.

Driver side fitment.

Passenger side fitment.

Roof fitment.

Kick.

?

I doubt that's legit. The kick isn't very steep (maybe compare that pic to others in the archives of H-T?).
And just about every cheap ebay/jdmshit/whatever lip/wing/whatever I've ever purchased has had the chasis and model year of the car it was for stamped on it, but the real deal parts never do...at least in my experience....anybody cosign on that or am I talking out my ***??
