Default just got back from the dyno

I got 180whp 137wtrq on a Dynamic Dyno So I'm pretty ******* happy with it

the red line is my street tune

the blue line in the dyno so I got a LOT of power pretty much everywhere and a ton of trq from getting this beast on the dyno.

Mods at the time of tuning

AEM 3inch intake
BpI Flowstack
high-flow cat
Greddy sp2 exhaust
stock header
coolant bypass mod
FVIV mod
homemade grounding kit
IAB stuck open

I'm going to remove the IAB's when I finally get a header then going to retune and hopefully hit over 200whp

wow, power to 7600! thats nice!

i'm gonna take a stab at it, but im willing to bet all your additional power came from ignition timing.

what is your total timing?

another thing. Did you try to take the torque dip between 4400 and 5200?

whats your vtec crossover at?

on the red graph i would say the vtec was at 5600, the blue one, looks like the vtec was lowered a little to around 5000, the torque curve would probably be more linear if he had the iabs hooked up.

yeah the torque dip i believe is from the stock header, I couldn't take it out

VTEC crossover is set to 4700 at 78.9 kpa

I'm not excatly sure how you find the total timing but from the ECU I'm at 18.50 idling and 32.35 at 8000rpm at 98kpa pressure, if that answer your question blake, if not just tell me what to look for and I'll look it up for ya

yeah it was very few fuel changes that was made, only in a small area I had that was too lean around 4-4.5K most the changes were in timing.

jdmh22luda, I believe it's because of the stock header

also my BPI flowstack is on the end of my CAI I didn't cut it to a shortram so that might be how I'm getting those HP readings as well as the common things(different dyno, day temp)

also part of the torque dip I believe is from the "AEM hump" but mostly from the stock header.

RIght now I have to take a set back because my next mod is pretty much going to set the course for my car, before I didn't think I would have the money to boost it and mantain it but I may be able to pull the fund together to get a nice low boost set up once I clear out some of my junk and stop going out all the time heh.

EDIT: my motor is an h22a4 so it's USDM and as of now I pulled the vacuum hose from the IAB's so they stay open while it was on the dyno and tuned for that.

that dip has to be because of the header and maybe the vtec crossover plays a part as well. my torque plateau starts to rise at 4800 and hits peak around 5300. My vtec crossover is at 4900.

yeah s300 when I was street tuning I had my VTEC at 5100rpm and it still had a tiny kick to it now its very hard to tell when VTEC is engaged but the car just keeps pulling all the way to redline. I have the CEL shiftlight set at 7812rpm

What kind of cat?

Peak power at 7600 is a nice, especially considering the simple mods you have.

he likely isnt putting 32* to the engine. for instance, in neptune it tells me the ignition the ecu see's and the actual ignition the engine sees. I'm allmotor and the engine was seeing 3-4* less than what the ecu was seeing. The numbers on the maps dont really mean much from what i have read.

ok so I'm a dumb *** and forgot to retune the middle pressure columns for when I opened the IABs!!

so I'll let everyone take a while guess where it was running leaning

.... yup thats right 4400-5700 and a tad in the 3000 range where there is that other small gap.

so I just re street tuned it this also caused my WOT to be in the 14.5 got those all back down to 13.2

so I'm assuming I made up most of that torque difference and probably netted a few more whp in the process on the top end.

so yeah fix that little problem, I'm gonna head back over and see if I can talk my way into some type of free baseline run or something quick but if not I'll throw it back on and see if I fixed that problem completely.

oh and it's a Magnaflow highflow cat blake

I wish I had still had my dyno curve to see where I picked all the torque up at....
