Default JDM style bumper for USDM front end?

Has anyone ever done the fake jdm bumper on their US front? I already have a sir style hood and jdm fenders so I dont want to do a full front clip. I saw this on eBay and hope someone could offer their opinions/experiences with them. Heres the link
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...&rd=1

And the picture

Will this even work? Thanks

So that bumper bolts right up to the stock front end? does it include the side markers or do you have to get those on your own.

I'd check locally first, I have a kit shop near me that ships the same bumper in for $200 even.

i would imagine it would fit as long as the bumper lines up with the other moungtin holes and isnt an exact clone, since the JDM headlights are longer

jimmy is right, those are indeed the longer SiR headlights in that image.

be careful the person posting that ebay page is just trying to make a quick buck off of you.

If you look at the sellers feedback, set the display option to show 200 results and look for crx (control+f) you will see that several people were satisfied with the bumper.

Well its obvious its for an SiR front so I see no reason other people wouldn't have bought it for their SiRs and been happy with it.

So, does anybody know where to find a bumper like the one they're claiming that this is. (ie. us front/jdm lights)?

I know I've seen a non-SiR front bumper that had SiR turn signals in it on a CRX in Europe, I have no idea if/where I have the pic but I doubt the bumper would be your style anyway, Europe is pretty crazy compared to the US as far as modifying cars goes. Acctually I don't even know if the bumper wasn't just a custom one off... Europe would probably be your best bet though because they have alot of body kits AND they have SiRs so those turn signals are way more available.

One other important thing to keep in mind is that the look alike bumper they'd be selling would be a fiberglass knock off instaed of the poly material used on oem front bumpers.

I have a body kit on my rsx, although it looks really good, it shure chips one hell of a lot easier than paint on an oem bumper. I just went a head with a true ef8 front end, no regrets!

Please not that this will not fit the usdm front. It's designed for a JDM EF8 front and it willstick out past the hood and the inside corners of the headlights. Why you might ask? Some of you may not know but the JDM front is more round than the usdm front so the middle of the bumper sticks out almost 2 inches further. This will make the headlighs sink in and the hood sit back. You can maybe bolt it on but it will look like it was in a wreck and the rad support was pushed back...

It's a knockoff Mugen SiR bumper... and it looks pretty good to me... allthough I don't know about the quality.

That looks so clean, if only I hadn't sworn to myself that I would keep my car stock looking (except wheels and my headlights), i would pick me one of those up in a heartbeat.
