hi guys! glad to find this place! i need a little help i've got a 99 dx hatch back bone stock, i have a d15b 3-stage vtec soon to install. i don't know what computer the car has just yet. is most of this a direct bolt and plug in? any help will be great! thanks!

yes, pretty much everything is direct bolt on, since most civics come stock with a d-series already. Run a search using the red text at the top right of your page, and be sure to click "Archived" rather than "Recent".

the most you'd have to is probably run you vtec wires and get another ECU

i should be slaped for this but a 10k the wife started to drive it,at 130k i had to replace the trans. so the car sat till she bought a new car then i replaced the trans. drove it for two weeks and the first time i get in to the gas hard it won't even hit the rev limiter then tic tic, spun the 4th rod bearing! while talking to my freind about it he reminded me that she ran the engine out of oil one time. so i guess she hurt it and i killed it

lol, i guess so, sorry for that buddy. that sucks. Is that a sign that you now have a new project car??? Or at least a new motor.
