What does your h22a idle at??
Just resently, when i start up my h22 (cold start) it has absolutely no power and idles at around 700-1000rpms, once i let it sit though for about 5-10 minutes it started to climb and does find but it idles at around 1500, then after driving for a couple of minutes it idles at 1900...
and then it just drops back and forth from 1200,1500,1900
im also having some transmission problems.

Mine idles at around 800 rpms. It sounds kinda like when my throttle postion sensor was going out on my old engine. My car would do something very similar to that. you can get one off ebay for cheap or try adjusting or cleaning yours. There is also another sensor in that same vacinity that causes problems similar to that cant remember what it is called though.

this is the exact same thing that happens to me after I did my coolant by pass.
once I did the FITV mod problem was gone and I haven't seen it since.
