24.5x8x13.... what do you guys do for front suspension
Should I pick up some coilovers, or put on the stock springs/struts?
Im really not sure about fitment...
How is breaking with the 24.5's, rub the fenders at all?
post some pics of your car running this size slicks..
Ive got an EG, so that would be most helpful...
thanks

Well what suspension do you have on there right now? That would help a little

I think you ought to get some coilovers in there at the minimum. Not a pretty site once that fender takes a bite out of the slicks.
Definitely raise the car somehow.

i was wondering the same thing. can i run the 24.5 in slicks with h and r springs and type r shocks?
right now im running a 24.12in tire on the street and it does not rub unless i take a sharp turn or hit a bump.
Im gonna try a 24.5in slick. i dont think its going to rub down the track or when i brake.

You do realize the slicks are wider and also wider wen you air them down? Also the slicks grow in size when you heat them up in the burn out box
For 24.5" slicks I think you need coilovers up front ot just be high enough to clear it. I have ripped a couple of bumpers off before, ben doing well with Tzus fasteners up front and raised up much mroe now also

Ryan, you'll need coilovers up front for sure. I wish you could have seen my slick from the PEI races, with those dips at the end of the track with the tires about 1 1/2" below the fenders it dropped down enough to grab one of the inner fender tabs, pull it out and then sliced the slick all the way around. Thank god it didn't blow it out but it ruined a brand new slick no the less... Order a cheapy set of coilover at the very least...
thanx for the info. i just think it sux that i have to re align and fix the camber on my car after i change the suspension set up. i was hoping the get it to work but i guess i might have the run 23in slicks.

It would be nice to have a good strong set in the rear, but last year I just ran a set of race spec springs in the back and coilovers in the front. It wasn't the best setup but I managed a 11.4 pass with it with full street trim. But if you don't have the extra cash or time, I would at the very least get some coilovers for the front and then get a good setup for next season.
ryan watch ebay for omnipower i bought mine on there cheap and there has been a few more sets since then they work.
